Demo
See the platform work
Recordings of the platform in action, the code behind it, and a link to the live platform once it’s deployed.
The live demo runs Crossplane without an Azure ProviderConfig — on purpose. Every claim you create gets scaffolded and composed for real inside the cluster (visible in the portal and catalog), but with no service-principal credential wired in, nothing ever reconciles out to an actual Azure subscription. Same golden path, zero cloud spend.
What’s in the repo
The portal side of the platform. Two golden paths create running apps — a backend service and a React frontend — and the rest request infrastructure: Crossplane claims on the Azure side, Terraform module calls for AWS and GCP.
The runtime side: a local kind cluster, ArgoCD, monitoring, Crossplane, and the discovery rules that deploy new services without anyone editing this repo by hand.
Azure blueprints for Crossplane: XRDs + Compositions, no platform wiring around them — each module shows a different pattern you run into once you go past the trivial stuff.
Infra modules for the demo. Local (free) and cloud versions of the same thing, so swapping source= is basically the whole migration.
A product team's own infrastructure repo, kept separate from idp-gitops on purpose: the platform team owns the cluster and blueprints; a product team owns what it requested, and can review/merge its own infra without commit access to the platform.
